We as a species are so numb to the suffering around us that we can actually maintain a frivolous merry existence while millions are dying of hunger,physical and mental abuse of so many varieties it staggers the mind..It seems that as long as the bad stuff isn't in our face we can easily ignore it or throw a minicule portion of our income at the world problems to assuage or feelings of guilt..Oh well as Annie Hall would say..La Dee Da..La Dee Da
