I'm a professional, intelligent, silly, blunt, sometimes funny, usually outgoing, adventurous, girl who's deeply in touch with her inner child (fabulous activities - scavenger hunts, kite flying, legos) but also has a taste for the finer things in life (art, travel, dining, dancing). I love exploring new places and trying new things. I believe life should be full of things that lead to fabulous stories later. Some favorite activities - concerts in the park, various street fairs, random road trips, museums, camping, white water rafting, wandering aimlessly around the city and taking advantage of anything cool I come across..
Being a big girl, I know I don't fit everyone's standard of beauty, but I'm surprisingly secure in my own skin. I believe in doing what makes you happy as long as it doesn't hurt others. I'm addicted to NPR and various other geeky pursuits (Dr. Who, BSG, Firefly, zombies - though they've pretty much jumped the shark at this point...). I'm a die hard progressive and believe we should help eachother out whenever possible. I'm also agnostic/Unitarian, so I generally don't get along romantically with people who consider their faith to be paramount - I admire their commitment, but it's not a part of my life.
Especially - and I can't stress this enough - I AM NOT LOOKING FOR ANYTHING LONG DISTANCE. I have a hard enough time dating guys from Brooklyn, there's no way I can make Denver work. If I can't get to your place in under an hour, its just not gonna work out, sorry
