Seeking Different but Similar I am a sweet-natured, thoughtful, lecturer in English literature (19th-century). I enjoy all forms of culture, and pop music, and I am a talker. I'm also an avid tango dancer - in fact, I like all dancing. I do have a strong personality, and often strong opinions, but I'm also flexible, likely to change my mind, and polite. I also like holding hands in public, laughing, kissing, banter, drinking tea, being kind for no reason, and quoting poetry. I don't like alcohol, coffee, or people who don't recycle at least some things.

Oh, and I fan dance.

Although I believe that people change interests to accommodate partners they like, I would say that I'd like to meet someone who is already a big reader , who likes to dance and is willing to learn to tango, and who either enjoys going to or is willing to try to enjoy going to the ballet. I would also like someone who is a strong person but not a bully, and someone who isn't afraid of a smart woman (but I assume that's every man on this site!).
