me...well i am a mom to two awesome kidlets, i am a full time student and i also have a job that allows me to make a surviving. i am working on my b.a. in history and am planning to transfer to uc berkeley soon to study history and celtic studies. i have my eye on graduate school where i will focus on irish history/irish studies and plan to one day teach at the university level, preferably in ireland (i plan on living in ireland at some point regardless). i think i am an easy going person, but i can be intense...i do have an awful lot going on and take each aspect of my life very seriously! i love learning, new experiences, expanding my horizons, travel, reading...the list goes on. i am a life long non-conformist and love to challenge the status quo and make people re-evaluate preconceived notions. but despite that, i also tend to be a bit old fashioned, not in male dominated, chauvinistic terms, but in the hold the door open for others, say bless you when someone sneezes, let the old/pregnant lady have the seat kind of way. you... well, i don't care if you like all kids but you would have to like mine! luckily thats easy to do and i think similar values, viewpoints etc can be an important factor in making any relationship actually work so you must be at least a little in line with me on those things (at least enough to agree to disagree, nicely). most of the other stuff is inconsequential, but i do like to laugh and have a good time so you must have a good sense of humor and adventure. you must be able to carry on a halfway intelligent conversation and be able to back up your opinions if i question them (i do like a good debate, i never ever argue though...but debate i do often). i appreciate someone who can participate as a partner in life and is willing to go the extra mile if needed.
