Math, Physics, Politics, Art--let's talk I am a high energy optimist. Politically active and liberal, I believe that if we expect thee best from people we usually get it. Although, I am a believer in intellectual honesty I believe that kind is more important than smart. My long standing intellectual interests include mathematics (stochastic optimal control, partial differential equations, differential and algebraic geometry), computer science (simulation and intelligent agents), statistics (time series analysis, data mining, factor analysis, database integration), physics (image processing, space-time geometry), economics (financial mathematics, macroeconomic policy, behavioral economics), politics (anti-poverty initiatives, voting rights, prison reform). Two of my more recent areas are psychology (happiness, social networks) and philosophy (justice, ethical behavior). I am no art expert but I know my way around the NYC Museums but not the galleries.
I would like to find someone who shares some of these passions and has a few of her own.
