I am a recently retired (early!) health care worker looking for a compatible companion who can share the good things in life. I enjoy the outdoors whether it be gardening or hiking. I love reading and writing too - short stories mostly. I enjoy films and outings in my most interesting city. I have dear friends who are great company but I need a real partner to enjoy the many wonderful times that I think are coming my way. I love to travel (especially to Greece) and would like to enjoy trips with an open minded person who doesn't complain too much when something unusal appears on his plate. I have a warm and affectionate nature and am looking for a partner with a thoughtful and kind frame of mind. A good sense of humor is important too. I like: clouds, geese migrating, the moon, the milky way - almost anything in the sky except smog and bombs. I like people who listen and who talk sense. I like people who like to hold hands.I like it when people know about music and love it. I like almost all flowers and insects. I love the sea and the land and pretty well almost everything in it. I don't like - meaness (in money or spirit) wasting time, cynicism, not facing up to things. I don't like playing games or being carless of other people's feelings. I don't like parking lots or strip malls. I don't like cheap shoes or instant coffee. this is the last time I'm trying this internet business. If it doesn't work out, I'm getting a dog from the animal rescue and to hell with it.
