I'm a small town cowgirl with a big city mind. Although I believe they're generally daft and you have to give them a lot of chances, people are my favorite things on the planet . . . and my favorite thing about it (though I also like words and country roads). My emails have been known to cause wonderful deskside brouhaha, but I haven't had time for email in a long while. I do serious work and play very hard. I am an actual poet. I don't even want to talk about ssexy.

I am a teacher, a writer and a mother. Never in any kind of order. I teach high school English in the city, which is something else. (The hardest love I've ever known). I like to watch people in unusual gatherings. I am good at making fried okra, and at -------ity in general. I like to shake my tail in various genres (currently enjoying Salsa).
