It's real tough describe what I'm looking for. I guess I'm pretty narcissistic - I want someone who thinks the same way I do. I like to debate. I like fun, light conversation too, but not quite as much as heavier, deeper subjects. I don't want to sound like an intellectual elite, but at the same time I'd rather err on that side than the opposite.
I don't want to seem like I'm putting in an order at the drive through. I read that a lot on sites like these - people just list the "perfect" qualities they are looking for. Truth be told, I have a difficult time finding personality traits that I really REALLY like. It changes from person to person, and situation to situation. Maybe I'm just crazy. I think it's not so much personality, but the way someone's mind works when they see problems, that I am looking for. The way someone sees the world.
That being said, I can at least try to throw out some traits that I like. You know, to avoid COMPELTE ambiguity
Basically, I'm looking for someone who values being critical of their own values, other values, and generalizations taken for granted. It helps if they have a philosophical background just for terminology purposes. I'm competitive, and I suppose I'd compare it to Predators (from the movie Predator. The same ones that vs. the Aliens) in that I wouldn't "hunt" for the sake of "food." It's the sport of it - I like being challenged. When people give up, in sports, debates, what have you, it just loses that aspect that I like. Winning for the sake of winning = not so much. For the most part.
