Kind and intelligent, what's not to like? I have a lively and curious mind, and have a variety of interests, including a passion for singing folk songs, mainly traditional. I intermittently enjoy life drawing, pottery and creative writing. My first degree was in archaeology, and I also have a Masters in the History of the English Landscape; as a result I have continuing interest in history, particularly classical, with a penchant for who-dunnits set in ancient Rome! More recently I obtained a Masters in Public Health (I work as an Information analyst in the NHS).
More important, I am a kind and gentle person, with a tendency to be thoughtful and reflective, although not without a certain strength of character. I believe that I am a lively conversationalist one-to-one, although I tend to be quieter in larger groups, and I enjoy laughing with good friends. I would also like to say that I will be very loving and affectionate with the right person.
So, I am looking for someone who's instinctive reaction to the above is 'she looks like an interesting person; I might like to get to know her better'. Someone who is also a fairly laid back and relaxed sort of chap, as I tend to be a bit ditzy in day to day matters, although rest assure my professional and financial concerns are in good order. I also try to keep fit with aerobics, swimming, gym and (morris!) dancing, so I am looking for someone who is reasonably fit.
