I am an avid reader. I've absorbed my share of history (ancient, medieval, modern), philosophy (mostly *nalytic, empirical and existentialist), politics, sociology, social psychology, linguistics, world culture and religion (though I am not a religious person).
Although my taste in music is quite diverse, I still maintain a slight preference for classical (baroque period), country, pop and pop-rock and I have actually done a bit of singing/songwriting stuff myself in the recent past which was a fun experience.
I would watch just about all types of films, with a slight preference for sci-fi, fantasy, horror, historical, etc. I do get a good laugh out of the odd comedy too.
I am hell into Star Trek!
At the moment I am doing a PhD in Political Science, and hope to become a University Lecturer upon graduation.
