Definitely medieval, probably schizoid.
Addicted to books about all things spiritual. It happened around the age of 14. I don’t know why. It could so easily have been a more normal addiction, like drugs or ---.
I am extremely uncomfortable around men. But a woman’s presence (real or cyber) does wonders for me. I don’t know why exactly, something about lacking "filters" (neurons?).
So imagine my delight on discovering some obscure Kabbalistic manuscript stating emphatically that “the woman is the key to the divine realm.” It’s a long, beautiful story.
I also have a passion for dead languages and guitars (I love my Taylor!!).
Basically, I'd like to trade notes, share experiences and advice with a fellow traveller, get to know you.
I'm 51, divorced, and am truly blessed with 2 amazing adult daughters. Oh, and by the way, I recently threw out my TV! Congratulate me!!!
I taught some intro to mysticism courses at Concordia University back in the 90's. Undergrads can be so closed-minded! Are you one of those truly rare “open-minded people”?
