I'm a quirky cerebral type who loves reading, listening to and playing music (I play folk, rock, jazz, and classical on my guitar). I have a witty, offbeat sense of humor and I'm strongly attracted to intelligence and musical ability.

I love going to museums (especially the inexhaustible Met), walking through the park, seeing live music, and dancing (though I'm no good at it -- would love to take lessons). I love going to the Film Forum to see old classics or new foreign flicks.

I have a ravenous appetite for learning new things and I love reading literature, history, philosophy (my major in college), and politics especially.


I've got a big family (immediate and extended) that's very important to me; such a vivacious, eccentric, and talented bunch you've never seen. I'm really interested in family genealogy and I have a copy of an ancestor's petition for a revolutionary war veteran's pension.

I'm currently a post-bac premedical student and plan to be a general practitioner. My current hero is Paul Farmer; I just finished a book called Mountains Beyond Mountains about him.

So what kind of girl am I looking for? Basically, someone who is sweet and has at least a few interests in common with me. More of a museum and concert goer than a out-till-four-am heavy-drinking type.
