It won't matter to me if the person is hearing or non-hearing, as long as the person knows sign language or would love to learn from me. Myself, I'm hard of hearing with hearing aids. I can talk (took seven years of speech therapy), but I can't pronounce some letters and while I can hear sounds fine, words comes in my ears in pieces and I'd either have to fill in the blanks or ask for clarification.
I have a passion for learning new things and applying them. I would pick up the randomest things and learn many skills such as violin, piano, first aid, rodent microsurgery, car and pre-1960s plane mechanics, history, business, etymology, etc. I have a very open yet *nalytical mind.
