There are 10 types of people in this world... I'm kind of a dork, and I love hanging out with other dorks too. Some of my favorite shows are things like Mythbusters and Time Warp, where scientists totally get their science on in a way that's appealing to non-scientific people.
I have a deep and abiding love and respect for the scientific method, and most things having to do with science. I have a degree in chemistry, and taught physics and physical science at a high school last year. Sometimes I get too much science and it hurts my brain and I want it to go away... but mostly I love it.
I'm not just a science geek, though. I'm kind of a grammar snob (but not always the best at using grammar), and a spelling snob (even though my vocabulary kind of stinks). Anyway, the main reason I'm here is to meet people I can carry on an intelligent conversation with, possibly including appropriate references to Schrodinger's cat (poor thing) or Heisenberg's principle (you can't pull me over for speeding, because if you know where I am, you can't possibly know how fast I was going!).
