I have the personality of a mini-octopus (my dream pet): I'm smart, curious, malleable and extremely private. Although I genuinely enjoy being solitary, I crave the responsibility of caring for another human being and being cared for. For the past 6 years I've been constantly moving from one city to another, and despite the fascinating people and cultures I encounter, I find myself increasingly longing for long-term emotional connections. That's what brought me here--the desire to meet some patient and sincere people that I can have long-term conversations with.


If I would have to pick a label, I would call myself a futurist. I love abstract thinking, speculating, and am constantly fascinated by new theoretical possibilities, whether in science, art, or in the humanities. I'm also seriously into foreign/independent films--Tarkovsky, anyone?


I've been told that I can appear distant. The truth is I'm somewhat shy but extremely kind, sometimes having a difficult time refusing people's demands--and hate myself for it. I'm also extremely introspective, but not self-obsessed--and like myself for it. Please (!) let me meet someone who's equally kind, caring, non-aggressive, and equally non-possessive. And yes, someone inquisitive, or at least someone who enjoys the company of inquisitive people.
