I am a self-described unconventional male who seeks a straight-up girlfriend, not a wife or one-night stand. I have aspirations to be the next Hemingway. (If you notice any grammatical errors, that's why editors were invented.) I want to trot around the globe in order to obtain the inspiration to pen the next great novel. I don't like the prospect of living the quaint and mediocre lifestyle in the 'burbs. I want to diversify and change course every couple of years.

I have all my teeth. I currently hold a full-time job. My favorite movie is "Sideways." I am big on non-fiction, especially metaphysics. I like to engage in political discourse and philosophy. (No really, I do. I didn't want to come across as smug when I typed that.) I'm not a puny --- nerd by any means. I jog nightly while listening to "Intelligence for Your Life" by the John Tesh Radio Show. I am currently in the midst of writing a fictionalized memoir about my years in college. I hope to find a "local Tina Fey" so to speak on this site--or just a geniune, down-to-earth, funny, ambitious woman.
