Professor of philosophy What I like : Woody Allen, Genesis (the first lp's), Yes, progressive rock, Margaret Atwood, Bill Bryson, films by Elia Kazan, french and asian films, black coffee, indian food, when it is good and there is still more, films by the Coen brothers, Douglas Adams, coffeeshops from which one can look at the people on the street, faces of people from other countries, helping others, beauty, Stravinsky, seeing a photography exposition with someone else, Prokofiev, piano concertos, cello concertos, real drum in rock, people that lend me good books, Chapters bookstore on Ste-Catherine in Montreal, Charles Aznavour, Glenn Gould, Joni Mitchell, women that have sparkling eyes, finding a new and fun place, the end of the black fly season, finding what I was looking for, the clouds to go elsewhere so that we can see the stars...
What I don't like : generic american films, country music, rap, reggae, fast-food, armchair sports, neo-nazis, old-style nazis, stupid uncles, violence, tooth problems like root canal treatments, hayfever, mosquitoes, forgetting something, being lost in a place in which there are wolverines or bears.
Looking for a funny woman who sees the world as a kid sees a candy store: hard to decide because there are too many good things to choose from. Someone who is not a workaholic, with whom I will share fundamental passions and who will introduce me to new ones (though, I am afraid I will never be able to like hunting, doing extreme sports (for me being near death is not an essential element of fun

), sado-masochism, repairing roofs or grading students papers). Someone who likes to read, to really listen to music, rock or classical, to discuss and make me change my mind, and who likes to eat what I cook...
I teach in a college in Sherbrooke but can cram my work week in two days : lots of free time. Would be ok to relocate in Montreal (or elsewhere, near the shores of the Mediterranean would be fine).
