The above are probably the most attractive, both romantically and in the interest of friendship, characteristics a human being can be capable of possessing.

That determination, that "I know what I want, and nothing will stop me from achieving it" mindset, is phenomenal.

The man who stands alone in a crowd - not the antisocial who tramples on people for the hell of it, but the individualist who has the esteem to hold himself above others, while still maintaining respect for their right to life - is another feature worthy of admiration.

Not the hedonist, who does whatever makes him feel good in a moment, but the rationalist who understand that happiness, and all emotions, for that matter, are a response to values. The man who therefore holds his life as his standard of value, and lives accordingly - holding his primaries as Reason, Purpose, and Self-esteem, with the corresponding virtues of Rationality, Productiveness, and Pride.
