Looking to connect with witty smart people I'm in my mid 30's, divorced, have a doctorate, and a highly developed bull---- meter! I'm open and easygoing, and get along well with most people, but get tired of the lack of authenticity and real connection that most social relationships are rooted in. I'd like to meet people who know themselves and what they want, and are interested in engaging at a deeper level both interpersonally and intellectually.

If that did not scare you and you're still reading, you probably get that I'm not exactly the "ohh I like shiny things" kind of girl! Don't get me wrong, I am down to earth and fun to be with, but I am also deeply curious about the 'big' questions in life and less concerned with things like who that kid from Glee is dating.

My work is a meaningful and important part of my life. When not at work, I like yoga, hiking, hanging out with my cute dog at the park, books reading, going to lectures, etc. ( geek stuff). I love good beer, but you're not going to find me out at the clubs!
