my life in a hundred words or less ... i'm curious, loving, love to laugh, emotionally intelligent, playful, deep, spiritually conscious, spontaneous, intimate, fit, kid-loving, independent, accepting, nature loving, full of passion, compassion and heart. i'm a middle & high school special-ed teacher with very progressive views; i love kids & honor their spirit & natural development. i'm committed to compassionate communication and personal reflection and i want to share truth seeking and intimacy with my beloved. on a lighter note i love theatre, film and music, yoga, to dance, hike, camp, travel, ski, run, read, cook. my favorite person in the world is my fabulous 17 -year-old son ! i take parenting seriously ... freely and joyfully! my spirituality is an important part of my life but not in any specific or religious form, and you'd never know it, by this intense & heavy bio, but i gotta laugh! wait...i forgot to mention politics, social justice, making a difference ... sequoias, the ocean, family, great friends, hot latin jazz, jon stewart, santa cruz, great food, weekend getaways, (everyone loves all this stuff, right?) wait, wait...i'm comfortable in both jeans and a cocktail dress ...at the same time
