I'm a professional academic (comparative literature), who, like probably most people on this site, listens to a unholy number of NPR podcasts, reads tons of psychological realism, cooks tasty but mostly organic meals, does yoga six days a week, has learned a couple languages and written a couple novels, has lived a few years in Europe and would like to go back (for a little while, at least), and, though often appearing serious, finds pretty much anything funny (except for injustice). Open to most anyone who shares at least a few of these interests and is willing to introduce me to theirs. NB: Sense of humor is probably most important. If you can't see that we're all kind of ridiculous, I'm not sure we'll connect all that well.
