Substance over Form
Substance over Form I prefer silence over "making conversation." I like conversations that give a person time to think, but I also like conversations that allow the space to say things that are quite obviously fallacious. I also find conversations that occur circumstantially through the pursuit of a current endeavor preferable over the academic pursuit of an individual conversation. I don't find musings over a glass of Chianti near as intellectual as a conversation over a new lesson plan that I'm trying to implement.
