I am a graduate from the PhD Program (quit half-way through, but got MALD)from Tufts University's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in early '90s and late '80s. Fields of concentration were National Security Policy; Communist Area Studies; European Diplomacy; and Middle East and Islamic Areas. Was a Bradley PhD Fellow for 2 years, then worked at Harvard's Kennedy School in National Security Program. Also helped as a Teaching Fellow for a visiting expert on 20th Century Espionage, Prof. Christopher Andrew of Cambridge University.

So, that is my academic credentials. I left a promising career in government work that could have been pretty wild, to pursue my passions: poetry and other forms of writing. I am aldo an accomplished photographer of mostly nature.

I love to travel, meet interesting people from overseas, discover things that I had dreamed of seeing since childhood, like the Balkans, and Europe. I hope to get to the Middle East one of these years.

I am a very funny person, at times a bit too intellectual sounding; but don't think I am above anyone who isn't well-schooled. I don't like techies, and math eggheads. I am a trustworthy guy, who was too busy to get married. Have led a wild life. Can explain someday over coffee (i try not to drink booze). I do like my cigars, and would like to hike someday instead of my long walks on roads now for better fitness. I am politically middle of the road, but definitely not liberal. But also not a bible thumper.

Looking for a soulmate (how is that for a trite phrase). Might entertain children if woman was in her thirties.
