Who I am:

Anarcho/spiritual artist-healer bohemian urban mountain man. Organic intellectual, dancer, Bi Radical Fairie, two-spirit, activist teacher, community organizer, hedonist, geek, historian and musician.

Radical thought and the history of social movments are my main interests. I love exploring ideas about how to create a fun, just, open, spiritual, ecological world. I love putting them into action.

I am looking for someone who loves ideas, co-creating and constantly evolving our understanding of the world. I like people who like to play with ideas, to explore a wide range of topics -- from consciousness to epistemology, to aesthetics. I am fascinated by how creative and whacked out the contemporary global world is.

I am looking for people who love late nights talking, listening, asking questions, care about ideas and love -------ity, ---, energy and connection.

My primary influences are Paolo Freire, Gramsci, and Habermas. Feminism and critical race theory have shaped me in core ways. Ecologically, David Abrams the best exemplar of my thinking.


My main intellectual project right now is creating a new rhetoric for activism. Sustainable, joyful activism is a core focus for me. We know what the problems are, what are the solutions? We need to hear and connect to the stories of victories and solutions. The world is full of amazing people succeeding at creating a new culture. The world is starving for these real, grounded successes. But the rhetorical framework of the left is almost mostly critique, panic, condescension, and demanding change. I am working on how to change the framework of all of our political discussions through new rhetorical paradigms and visions that develop the mainstream's ability to comprehend radically different futures. There is deep spiritual power in people sharing their victories solutions and visions.
