I am a late middle aged man, just separated after a long and successful marriage. I am average looking, though extremely fit (for any age) and quite attractive. I am in the design field, was a serious artist for some years, have varied intellectual interests, am widely travels and very well educated. I am well off financially. My social interests are perhaps a bit narrow, I've spent the past two decades concentrating on my family, and work. These interest include running and cycling, thinking about and discussing books, art and buildings, social theory. I don't care much about politics; my approach to the personal is quite liberal but to broader social issues rather conservative. I like to think I've a fairly reasoned outlook, thus pessimism of the intellect, optimism of the will is a good description of where I am at.
I am bright for my age, gregarious, and like to have fun,but have my moments under Saturn. I have many friends,of varied race, age, and class.
I admire beauty, but probably kindness above all. Oh, and at the moment, I am a bit too much unsettled for an especially complex relationship. So there it is.
