Does this make sense? I really don't know what to expect to find here. Some of the very best times in my life have been when serendipity led me into chance conversation with others. Usually on the first meeting, but sometimes later. And some times continuing.

Intelligence has been a mixed blessing for me. I learned from my father that, if one is observant, almost everyone has a fascinating tale to tell.

More importantly, he let me know that no one is so intelligent, so learned, that there is nothing left to be gotten from others.

The only down side is that, sometimes, it is simply impossible to convey certain ideas and concepts to others due to differences in relative intellect. Perhaps a sad corollary to the lessons my father taught me.

At any rate, I would like to see if any here would like to trade thoughts.
