Failed at Me--- A friend once said a professor told her she'd never be an intellectual. When she asked why, the professor replied "becase you enjoy learning too much." How you may feel about that comment aside, I don't think by that definition I'd ever be an intellectual. I've tested at a 122 I.Q., and do enjoy the company of others who are quick-witted and intelligent. That being said, I don't think formal education is necessarily the only barometer of one's brainpower, as I know a few people who I consider quick and intelligent that barely made it out of high school. Someone who can appreciate an etymology joke and yet still laugh at Adult Swim on the Cartoon Network is my kind of person! I'd rather know a little about everything than everything about one thing, and I'm an excellent repository of useless knowledge and esoteric trivia. I LOVE to learn!
