So it goes.. I consider myself a theistic existentialist with nihilistic tendencies. I do not believe that existence precedes essence, however I do believe that man can choose either cruel or good (though good and bad don't exist beyond the meaning we give to them) however he is neither of these things essentially. The world is not fair (though through sheer will of thought you can avoid the 'bad') and a 'meaningful' life can at any point lose its meaning (but its up to you to decide the meaning). I believe you can 'flip a coin' because if nothing has meaning then you should not have to make a decision because both are right and the outcome doesn't matter. You should not act a certian way just because it is what one 'should' do. I believe what happens just happens (but the truly enlightened can control it). I believe God designed the world, but we must define our own lives and we are held accountable for our own self-definition
