The quip," A man should know something about everything and everything about something" defines me, I think, and, with a shift of gender, the type woman who interests me. I am, and want my partner to be, well read, well informed, and open to any direction and subject of conversation and discourse. The breadth and depth of the possibilities can infinite with no subject too serious, too esoteric, or too inane.
I feel that conversation is not very stimulative if everyone is in agreement so I generally take the opposing position in a discussion to make sure stated positions have merit. Plus, I find it amusing to try to poke holes in strongly held beliefs and notions.
I am fit and trim and am adamant that my partner be also. I do not smoke and cannot be with someone who does. I am not a health fanatic but I do try to maintain a healthy lifestyle with plenty of activity.
I love to dance, play and listen to music, and travel.
It has been said that I have a great sense of humor ( and, goodness knows, I need it) and am a little quirky (well, quirky might not be the exact word that was used but let us let it suffice for the moment).
Good food, good company, and good conversation.
