A rambling man, rolling through life I’m a “simple pleasures” kind of man. Going to the farmer’s market with my family or spending an afternoon in the park with my friends runs up my happiness mileage as much as a big vacation or fancy dinner.

I do travel sometimes, but mainly on road trips. My dream is to drive the entire length of Route 66. Airports and flying just aren’t fun anymore, and I believe the object of travel is to expand your horizons and have a great time while doing it. My ideal travel buddy is someone who cares more about the journey, and is open to new ideas and experiences. That’s what fuels my life.

I attended a community college, Clark College, and received a general Associates of Arts to transfer to Washington State University. I studied Information Management, but dropped out after two semesters after rediscovering my passion for writing.

Whether I’m developing digital art projects or just blogging my thoughts, I seek out creativity anywhere I can find it. When left to my own devices, I may become a bit glued to my computer, but I always welcome a distraction. Especially if that distraction is a provocative conversation or a movie.

I love movies and books – for me, it’s all about the story. I’m particularly drawn to untold stories, or writers that have a unique perspective, or a view of the world I may not have.

This is probably, in part, because life has given me a unique perspective: I’m in a wheelchair. I have weak muscles, but a strong constitution and mind. I’m always happy to answer any questions, and expect them, so ask away! I believe people should live their strengths. I love myself, and my small limitations.

I also love to make people laugh. Life is unpredictable and crazy, and I think we’d all co-exist a bit better if we could find the humor and joy in all things.
