I'm studying Politics/Sociology at York (live in Cheltenham), entering my second year in a few months, and intend to do a Master's (at least) afterwards. I try not to take anything seriously and I'm pretty relaxed about most things. I don't really drink/club, but I am an avid cinema-goer (though I probably watch more films on DVD) and live comedy attendee. Generally up for trying new things.
Since this is my intellectual profile:
I'm a member of the Epimetheus Society, a high-IQ society for 1/30,000 people, or 164+. While I am totally aware of the limitations of the IQ test, I believe mainly measure pattern recognition and *nalytical ability, two things I guess I do pretty well.
I've probably read all of wikipedia (well, not QUITE) and can probably hold a passable conversation on literally any topic from quantum chromodynamics, ancient empires or sociobiology to foreign cinema, internet politics or evolutionary psychology. I love teaching people new things, and appreciate it when people are interested in whatever topic I'm currently thinking about. I can solve all kinds of Rubik's cubes pretty fast.
There's pretty much nothing I enjoy more than discussing something with someone clever.
Anyway, I'm looking for someone very, very bright, quirky, ethical, and unusual
