Masimba's Blog The Fourth Reich is already with us! We just don't see it
Posted by Masimba on 2012-07-14 05:42:59.

It is always easy to blame the “head”, to say, "Hitler did this", and, "Hitler did that". But the truth is Hitler himself did very little. No doubt, like his homologue Stalin, he was a world class tyrant, but the evil actually done in Germany during the Third Reich, from the slave-labour camps to the extermination camps to the war itself, was all done by German citizens who were all too happy never dispute or to question if what they were... One doesn’t know really what Orwell was thinking about when he wrote 1984, probably he never believed that this great book of his would become a reality in the present day, or did he? There is no doubt that more and more elements of 1984 are visible both in Europe and the USA, and that is truly a worrisome trend that all of us are just sitting passively by and letting it happen and are either too engrossed in the problems of our daily lives, or too busy chasing the... Masimba's Blog An Outsider's view on the Presidency of Barack Obama
Posted by Masimba on 2012-07-14 02:55:53.

As a non-American, and having no emotional or vested interest in the November election in the US, if not that of the general apprehension that most Europeans have seeing the worrisome political and social direction that is going on in the USA, I can look at certain aspects of American politics like the Presidency of Mr. Barak Obama in a dispassionate manner, and it seems obvious to me that no matter how one looks at his Presidency or whether one agrees or not with President Barack Obama, I think... How about I take you for a swim... The Hum of a Typewriter Porky McFatass stands Hardly mute at each security Checkpoint- his grubby hands Ready to my ancestors Voices from my veins In the deepest White Elitist culturhythmic way Like; Mt. Rushmore And the holy Forefathers’ faces; posed angel mouths Wide for that other than singing But if they were singing they’d praise Jingles of diamonds then Slur into slogans and... One comment

Jojo1989's Blog Getting started.
Posted by Jojo1989 on 2010-11-03 06:51:57.

Hi and welcome to Jojo's blog. I'm a new member to the Intellectual passions blog and I just saw this as a way to blow off some steam and possibly engage in some thought provoking interaction with different persons from around the world. Maybe my expectations are too much, after all this is the world wide web, and there are hundreds of thousands of persons that blog and their work never get a single hit. But just so I could feel as though I'm doing something with my life instead of sitting around... One comment

Jojo1989's Blog From mountain top to low lying valleys.

Well, this is funny. I've just realized something(well not really I knew it all the time,I just decided to now start doing it) there are forces at work behind the scenes that try to make me have terrible days. Call it what you want, karma, demons, angels in disguise, call them what you may. But I just know, that something always tries to cause me to have a terrible day and to return to the place of defeat that I had just arisen from. But today I say no to it. I will carry on my day with a smile and... No comments

Greentree's Blog welcome to my world- Jim Reeves

cI always began late.. be it any technology, gadgets..a good movie..or just awakening. i am now 49 years, and then i think its never too late in life. I believe there is some calling one gets to hear at some point of time in ones life span, when, one tends to drift away into wilderness..just not knowing where it leads to. When one sings to himself and enjoys it, talks to him self..the conversations carry on. Your search engine begins to kick in...I think we all have an inbuilt programmed... No comments

Outcome: found some stunningly worded profiles this way, but they appear to... One comment

Lonekiltedninja's Blog Returning Thoughts
Posted by Lonekiltedninja on 2010-06-28 18:30:54.

It's been a while since I've been on here actually doing more than responding politely to a woman brave enough to contact me. As I've said before, I do keep meeting wonderful, enjoyable, and when I'm lucky, compatible ladies here, and from time to time that compatibility turns into months of really wanting to take a connection seriously. So I do thank everyone who has either reached out to me, or responded to my own out-of-the-blue hailing- I've gained something valuable from meeting each of you,... No comments
